Eclipse - Server Not Found in Run Configurations

I have problems: I have a GlassFish server configured in Eclipse. Now I need to add the project to its class path: I go to Run Configurations -> Glassfish -> "Glassfish 3.1.2 on localhost" (current server). Now, as you can see from the attached image, I cannot select any server, since there is no server in the drop-down menu.

no server avaiable from dropdown list

I would like to select a server and then go to "Classpath" and add a project ... Can anyone help me?

It seems strange to me that when I launch my web application, it runs on this server ... So why can't I see it in Run Configuration?

Thanks to everyone who can help,

The target runtime is likely configured for GlassFish, but not the server instance. The startup configuration dialog box is not suitable for managing servers. You need to do this through the server view. In the "Servers" view, you can create a new server instance, assign projects to it, start / stop the server, publish, etc.

If the Server view is not currently displayed for you, find it through the window → Show view.
