Can I create a new Sentry account? How?

To add a user, you must: "You can add a user by his name if he already has an account."

After spending an hour or so on this question, I finally found the answer. Sentry has user management here: http: //yoursentry.url / manage / users /.

I have a user register at http: // SOMEHOST: 9000 / auth / login / sentry / , after which I assign the user to the command. Each project is assigned to a team.

Sentry on-premise version: master HEAD is located at 177ed0ef (completed November 11, 2016)

I am doing this procedure to create another account in the local Sentry:

Suppose the clock port is 9000 :

  1. Login with original account
  2. Go to this address http://127.0.0.1:9000/settings/sentry/members/
  3. Invite a user with their email address and role, then click Add Member
  4. Then click on the newly created invitation.
  5. Copy the invitation link to the clipboard.
  6. SignOut from the original user.
  7. Go to the copied link (for example, http://127.0.0.1:9000/accept/6/ab1acc5a37cf4e84a1f75a51c7485f06b01dcad2219540d1b4490a1e1dcbd705/ )
  8. Click on Create a new account
  9. Now, next to the entrance, the "Registration" tab has appeared.
  10. Enter your new email address, username and password on the Registration tab, then click Register .
  11. Click Join to a Sentry organization

[ NOTE ]:

  • With this address http://127.0.0.1:9000/admin and with the original user, you can access the Sentry User table and change the role of the account and organization, or you can create a new user.

  • This is tested on Sentry 9.0.0
