About adding Google Talk to my site

I am trying to add gTalk to my site

CODE: -

<iframe src="http://www.google.com/talk/service/badge/Show?tk=z01q6amlque8dh1ahj76nn5veh4qid1oovkbpncm3tiji81dnua3fn5541f1okhra1h29iv1q631sjlp3tgmp55gqq8mib1kr53kt4ao2t74kad5ivccd8drd32sirahntunpq7c3fp7nefv6tnacnukdnc6ef5q8bbpjsal15o5evurq7d7kqdfnn560uaoibk&amp;w=200&amp;h=60" allowtransparency="true" frameborder="0" height="60" width="200"></iframe>

It is displayed in the browser, but when someone clicks on the link, if in online mode the page is redirected to http://support.google.com/chat/?hl=en&topic=1725163#topic=24666

I can not communicate.

There seems to be little information about this around this ... here's why:

"Google no longer supports the chat icon."

I had the same problem. It is very disappointing that the Chatback icon is not supported.

I found OggChat to replace it. http://oggchat.com/

It is designed specifically for GMail and Google Talk.

You have to pay for it, but it is not very expensive, and it is worth it.

It has more features than the chat icon.

  • You can style and brand.
  • You can track visitors by location / time spent on the page
  • You can invite people to chat (manually and automatically)
  • It loads asynchronously
  • Saves and decrypts email transcripts
  • You can use it anywhere you can use Gmail or Google Talk.

I use it on three websites throughout the year. I can not recommend it highly enough.
