The superuser cannot access the Perforce database due to the following conditions:
- When the only superuser account specified in the protection table is accidentally deleted, but still remains in the protection table
- The superuser account owner forgets the superuser account password.
The idea of ββthe fix is ββto stop the server, move db.protect to the side, bounce the server, change the password using any other account, and then move db.protect back and scan the server again.
