How to activate Azure CDN for the web role of the cloud service

I created the CDN endpoint in [id].vo.msecnd.net , and I deployed the mvc4 cloud service web role.

It has images at the root level /cdn , but I cannot upload these images via cdn. I can access them through the direct URL. For example, this works:

 [site].cloudapp.net/cdn/eb303.gif

but not:

 [id].vo.msecnd.net/eb303.gif

The cdn endpoint is enabled and configured under the hosted service that hosts the web role. The documentation I read indicates that nothing else is required. I am using a bizspark license, but as far as I can tell, this should include the CDN endpoints.

Is there any step that I am missing?

It may sometimes take up to 1 hour before the CDN endpoint is ready for your content server. It works with any type of deployment or production.

Do you still have a problem? If you still have a problem, you may need to contact Azure Support, because if you have turned on the CDN, you should be good to go.
