Its 2012 and cv2 are here. This old article shows how to change the camera resolution in opencv versions to about 1.1 camera capture in opencv but these functions are not available in the cv2 or nested cv2.cv module (opencv 2.4.1 is the latest to date)
Does anyone know how to change camera resolution from python to opencv? I'm not looking for C ++ - a solution, but instead, which is available from python (2.7), which comes with cv2. Importing a single module is acceptable.
As indicated elsewhere, the VideoCapture.set functions do not work.
