Win8 development is supported only on Win8. VS installs on any Windows OS with Vista and supports classic application development, but as you can see, you wonβt have access to Win8 application styles.
Since Win8 rc is available for free, you can download it and install it on a virtual machine and the code for this option for an inexpensive workaround. You do not need this to be your primary OS. Development in VM has a lot of advantages, but thatβs not what you asked for, so Iβll leave it to that.
