Design for social network.

Question

I plan to start development for a social network feed. And I want to appeal to those who solved such problems and what tools are used.

Goal:

Creating a feed for each user who fell on the events of his friends and himself. But you need to support aggregation of entries in the feed, for example, the Facebook feed. For instance:

1) Michael created a new album 2) Joseph and David commented on the article ... 3) Anthony commented on the article and joined the group "Ruby on Rails"

If you are looking only for aggregators of custom channels from different social networks, you can try to look at http://pavelk2.imtqy.com/social-feed/ , which works with Facebook, Google+, Instagram and VK. It is open source and you can get the code here: https://github.com/pavelk2/social-feed
