Why completion of a paused (non-renewable) service instance returns Failed, but it is completed

Why does the suspension of a suspended (non-renewable) instance of a service instance stop, but is it completed?

Using the Microsoft.BizTalk.Operations BizTalkOperations.TerminateInstance () in the โ€œSuspended (Resume)โ€ and โ€œSuspended (Non-Resume)โ€ instance (routing error report)

Return Check Microsoft.BizTalk.Operations.CompletionStatus, paused - "Success", but a suspended non-renewable returns "Failed"

However, when I check the BizTalk Admin and / or BizTalkOperations.GetServiceInstances (), both instances are gone!

So what is going on here?

An optional instance is typically associated with its renewable instance. You should have terminated the suspended (renewable) instance before its corresponding suspended (non-renewable) instance, as a result of which you will receive a refusal to renew, because it was terminated as part of the renewable instance. This is the same behavior as in the admin console.
