How to run a 46-page Apache Sling tutorial blog?

I am trying to go through this Apache Sling tutorial and I am stuck at the beginning. I cannot display the blog form in my browser. Instead, I get the following message:

Resource dumped by HtmlRendererServlet Resource path: /content/blog/* Resource metadata: {sling.resolutionPathInfo=.html, sling.resolutionPath=/content/blog/*} Resource type: sling:syntheticStarResource Resource super type: - Resource Value: 

I saw on README that this could be due to org.apache.sling.samples.path-based.rtp not working. However, I made sure that the package is included in the Felix console. (I tried to install the console from the OSGi storage tab, and then, loading the jar and dropping it under sling / startup / 15, but did not change anything)

I am wondering if there are any additional configuration steps that I should take?

Please note that I am new to OSGi and Sling, so this is probably a beginner's mistake.

Edit: I noticed in the Felix console the component tab that org.apache.sling.samples.pathbasedrtp.DefaultResourceTypeProvider had a status of "unsatisfied". Could it be related?

There was actually a problem (you can see by clicking on the package name in /system/console/bundles ), which prevented the package oassamples.path-based.rtp from starting with the latest versions of Sling.

I just fixed it ( https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SLING-2557 ), try again!
