Graphics Acceleration Error in BlackBerry Simulator

When I run any program on the simulator, it opens and shows an error:

Graphics Acceleration Error - Simulator BlackBerry 9900

The problem with your current graphics acceleration settings. An OpenGL 1.x + video card with the latest video drivers is needed to speed up graphics. Please try lower graphics acceleration by going to the view menu.

Now the simulator will return to software rendering.

Failed to create texture (err = 0x501)

Need help with this.

I am developing with the BlackBerry SDK for Eclipse (plugin) and I am having the same problem.

I decided to add the line <BodyBuilder::opengl-acceleration>0</BodyBuilder::opengl-acceleration> to the fledge-settings.conf file found in the following directory C: \ eclipse \ plugins \ net.rim.ejde . componentpack7.1.0_7.1.0.10 \ components \ simulator C: \ eclipse \ plugins \ net.rim.ejde . componentpack7.1.0_7.1.0.10 \ components \ simulator

If this line exists, change only the value that is between the <> value <> to 0 tags.

Try the following:

Browse to the folder where eclipse is installed. In my case, it is installed on the desktop. those. C:\Users\Username\Desktop\eclipse\ After that, go to the plugin folder → Blackberry Installed SDK folder -> Components -> Simulator . Then try to find the fledge-settings.conf file. Open it with Notepad or any editor. Add line below

 <BodyBuilder::opengl-acceleration>0</BodyBuilder::opengl-acceleration>

before the </fledge-configuration> .

Path to navigate the fledge-settings.conf file:

C: \ Users \ Username \ Desktop \ eclipse \ Plugins \ net.rim.ejde.componentpack7.1.0_7.1.0.10 \ components \ Trainer

Disable graphics acceleration. For the BlackBerry Torch 9800 simulator, where to find the shutdown option (red marker) is shown in the following image. Try something similar on your simulator.
