I'm currently trying to optimize the site. I often experience a big gap in the loading of a page where nothing happens.
So, I get it, I'm using the google chrome devtools timeline tool to analyze what happens.
This is what he shows me:
As you can see, there is nothing between 2.27 and 3.97s. Now I ask myself, what happens during this time? Why doesn't the tool show me anything at this time? Are there processes that are not covered by the devtools timeline?
My suspicion is that during this time a video tag may be activated, because I have a video tag on the page, but I'm not 100% sure if this is the reason.
Does anyone encounter such a gap and know what the problem is?
