An example of displaying Google Spreadsheet data on Google through Google Apps Script

I see that some people are trying to grab data from google spreadsheets via google apps script to embed it on their google sites:

I could bash get away from code snippets, but I don't think anyone has a working example anywhere?

At the moment, I do not think that you will see anything if you are not logged in to Google, but if you are then it can show this:
