Image analysis and point search in iOS

Question

I am looking for a solution to identify points in an image in iOS. The idea is to select an image using UIImagePicker. Then analyze the image for points of a certain size range and indicate the number of points found as a result.

I heard about openCV. Does anyone have an example of this work.

I come through this link recently, which is OpenCV for iOS, you can use this as a starting point. Also look at the spot detection message .
