Update and lock CountDownTimer

If you understand CountDownTimer correctly, it does not start in a separate thread from the activity that started it. So this means that if I start using CountDownTimer in my main action, and another piece of code is blocked in activity, does this mean that CountDownTimer will no longer be updated as the thread binds?

and if so, did CountDownTimer connect to the main asset if I started the second activity?

If CountdownTimer is running in the main thread, any blocking call in the main thread will delay Ontick and Onfinish ().

But the second part is incorrect, since even if the next action is running, the main thread is still running. This way, CountdownTimer will continue to work even if you run the second action
