Metaio sdk (openGL) slows down printing of fonts and images

I have 2 actions, activity A, in which I have a lot of information (text images and images) and activity B, which starts with activity A, activity B is Hello Augmented World , where I use the augmented reality mechanism from metaio. The problem occurs when activity B is closed and activity A is resumed, most fonts (characters) are displayed as blocks, and images are all black. This only happens when A resumes after killing B. I found a similar article , but that doesn't help me at all. I can’t understand what the problem is and where to start debugging. Thanks in advance!

I found out what the problem is: the augmented reality activity was called a method ( setTexture ) from a wrong thread ( not OpenGL thread ), and this caused a rendering pipeline to crash.
