I start the minicomputer to check the sending of SMS messages via the GSM modem.
Configuring the modem as such
AT+CSCS? +CSCS: "IRA" OK AT+CMGF? +CMGF: 1 OK
The TE character set is IRA, and the modem is in text mode.
I only need to send ASCII characters in the range from 32 to 126. However, I found that sending a simple character like "\" or "^" would cause + CMS Error: 305 (parameter value for invalid text mode.)
AT+CMGS="+1xxxxxxxxxx" > \ +CMS ERROR: 305
Does anyone know how to avoid these special characters in SMS messages?
