Blender and Woofer

Is there any way to open Vuforia AR sample packs in a blender. I know that Vuforia AR has an sdk for Unity 3d, but I'm currently using Blender and don’t want to give up $ 400 to get the Android license for Unity. Any help with this would be great.

Rather late on this, but I just wrote a Wavefront OBJ file parser for the Vuforia format - on the contrary, what thechrisberry wants. Subscribe to stackoverflow doyen rodrigo-silveira for the initiative idea provided.

Vuforia samples have mostly simple object models - cubes and teapots - so it won't be necessary to make an OBJ file from them and import it into Blender. You just need to convert the vertices, normals, tecodes, and arrays of indexes of Vuforia samples to the OBJ text format (v, vn, vt, and f elements) and include the PNG texture file from the sample.

Blender is 3D modeling software, and Unity 3D is a game engine. They are completely different and made for different purposes. If you want to customize sample applications using your own customization, I would recommend using the Vuforia SDK for Android. But this includes coding, unlike Unity, which is simply drag and drop for simple applications.
