& Amp; # 039; questions in titles (Joomla) and how to do it on Facebook

Hello, I am using Joomla as a CMS with a plugin (K2) to process my articles. Currently, all meta headers display this & # 039; when there is an apostrophe as well as Facebook posts as shown

Canada Economic Action Plan: Breakdown.

I think it happens that the header is filtered twice, giving a double code for apostrophes. This is what I think, but I do not know. Look at this page source for the title.

http://www.thebeaverton.com/local/local-in-brief/item/360-teacher-compares-death-of-kindergartners-puppy-to-divorce-from-kathy

and you will see

meta name="title" content="Teacher compares death of kindergartner&#039s puppy to divorce from Kathy"

What can I do to stop this? I get all my visitors from Facebook shares, so it's terrible. Thanks.

Update your version of k2 to the latest (2.6.2) of this error - I think it is introduced in k2 v2.6. Has been fixed in this version! Hope this helps!

A simple solution is to add a description on the Metadata Information tab (K2 edit control) for any K2 elements with special characters that override the default processing and provide control over how it is displayed in FB
