I really hope that someone can tell me more about what is happening, because I spent several days online, and for me life cannot say what is happening.
Here is what happened. I have a site 4nieuws.nl. On each page of the article, I put a similar button using the Javascript SDK. Everything worked well. On facebook, I created a fan page for the site, facebook.com/4nieuws, and from time to time I would copy an interesting article. A similar button and Javascript SDK on 4nieuws.nl uses the APP identifier from the application that I created specifically for this purpose.
Then I thought that I could automate the publication of the most popular articles on a fan page using the PHP api. I set the correct authorization key using the sequence described on this page: http://www.typeoneerror.com/articles/post/permanent-facebook-sessions-and-posting-as-a-page
To do this, I allowed the previously mentioned application to be published in facebook files, which I am an administrator. And it works.
Now for the weird part. Ever since I allowed the application, if I go to 4nieuws.nl and, like a page, or even “facebook post”, the button shows one more thing. But such a message never appears on my personal wall. My wife, who has logged into her Facebook account, receives a notification that I liked the page, but when she clicks the notification, she goes to Facebook page 404. When I subsequently reload the article, my “like” no longer exists.
Has anyone ever come across something like this? I am a little worried because I'm not sure that other people like 4nieuws.nl work as they should. I really love the pages, but I have no idea whether these people really are registered on the walls of the nations.
