PHPStorm and other JetBrains IDEs: how to change git default colors?

I am currently using PHPStorm 6 EAP build and git, but the answer to this question may be useful for those using a different JetBrains environment or different version control systems.

How to change git default colors in tabs and project files window? I switched to the Darcula IDE theme and now I couldn’t see the file names normally.
