No sources in EKEventStore

Question

I have a strange problem when my EKEventStore instance does not contain any sources.

It’s strange that it works in some of my phones (get EKSourceTypeLocal and create a calendar), and in some it doesn’t, I spent a lot of time changing the calendar settings, but I couldn’t come with a picture or something.

Any ideas?

When on iOS6, make sure you call -requestAccessToEntityType: completion: the method after initialization and before trying to get any data.

Check your privacy settings. If the user has denied access to the calendar (iOS 6) for this application, then you will not receive any information.
