Software conversion from MS word to Excel

Are there any problems with the MS Word file and convert to excel. (Obviously, the word should have guessed where to put the material). Any language will be fine

This is a fairly open-ended question. The contents of a Word document will affect how easy / difficult it is.

One of the methods that you can pay attention to is automating Word to open a Word document and then write a new file with a comma-separated format and simply name the file with the extension .xls. After opening this file in Excel, it should "just work."

If you need formatting in your Excel Excel document, you can use Excel Automation to create your output document. Using this, you will have both Word automation (reading) and Excel automation (writing) in your program.

Another option that I used (but a little expensive) in a server environment is Aspose Aspose libraries . They have a pretty nice API (at least for the Word I used), and they eliminate the automation angle.
