Limit file downloads to 6 requests in Chrome

Question

I know that Google Chrome is limited to 6 HTTP requests.

That's why on my simple file downloader I can only upload 6 files at a time. and if I earn it, it will show 6 http Post request working.

My question is: why is downloading software such as java uploader or plupload unlimited? (when I firebug it, it does not show an HTTP request).

What did they do? Did they use a method other than a POST request to download the file?

I think you should ask the opposite question: why is Chrome limited? BTW, at least in the past, MSIE was limited to two simultaneous downloads that were configured through the registry.

Browsers limit the number of downloads to more stable ones. Otherwise, responsible developers may crash the browser. Lower-level tools designed for engineers, not end users, do not limit this number, transferring this responsibility to the application developer.
