By default, all types are used to call an activity feed. It would be great if there was a way to filter by type so that I could get a feed of just downloads. Is it possible?

If you are looking for downloads, you must call the Channels resource to get the Uploads playlist, and then use the PlaylistItems for your activity feed.
So, to download the Google channel, make a call here:

Here you will find the playlist identifier (UUK8sQmJBp8GCxrOtXWBpyEA) in response to json:
items โ contentDetails โ relatedPlaylists โ uploads
Then call the PlaylistItems resource using "UUK8sQmJBp8GCxrOtXWBpyEA" set to playlistId
