How to connect to external sites via YouTube videos via annotations

Is there a way to link to an external website through a YouTube video by creating annotation links?

That is, the link is embedded in the video. An example of what I want is given in this video . When viewing there is a link in the lower left corner.

This can be done using LinkedTube , but this is not an annotation style.

I searched the Youtube API but did not find anything related to annotation control.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Youtube disallows external links by default, but you can still embed an external link. You have two options for this:

  • Do you have a paid account?
  • Buy some ads

I think you need to contact youtube sales to discuss the details.

PS: We used external links here , check the upper right corner of the video.

You can do this if you uploaded the video to your YouTube account.

In the settings you enter the link and text that will be displayed when playing your video.
