Video encoding and decoding technology on Windows Phone 8

I want to know the answers to the following questions, as I am completely confused about what to do and how to do it.

I was thinking of developing one video editor application for Windows Phone 8. But I could not find a suitable API that supports this.

While browsing and browsing the Microsoft website, I found out that DirectShow is not fully used in Windows Phone 8. If so, the Media Foundation is the only alternative. Does the media editor support video editing, which includes encoding and decoding, on Windows Phone 8? I especially need this to support Windows Phone 8. Are there any links about this? If Media Foundation also does not support Windows Phone 8, what is the alternative for editing video in Windows Phone 8? I am trying to use the metro interface.

Media Foundation support is limited to playback features on Windows Phone . For video editing, you are largely limited by what you can do in .NET and standard C / C ++ (for example, codecs themselves or using third-party libraries).

I also need video clips on Windows Phone 8 for some research (and not a video editor). Have you seen the TransferVideoFrame method within the Media Foundation? I'm still trying to figure out how this works, but according to the documentation this method should do the trick.
