Random folders are created in the Yii resource directory

Can someone explain to me why random folders are created in the resource directory of my Yii project. Since I use SVN for version control, do I need to commit these folders as well?

These folders are js, css and image files needed for various widgets and other parts of the Yii structure. You do NOT want to transfer them to the repository, since Yii automatically restores a new copy if they do not exist.

Just create a folder for it, destroy the contents of the folder if you switch to new versions of widgets and do not add them to your repo.
