Resetting IE Personal Settings Increases Application Performance

We have a .NET application installed through ClickOnce on a client workstation, and in most implementations and in the office this application runs very quickly. However, several clients have reported a problem with the speed of the application and found that by resetting their personal settings in the IE user's browser, the application will work at nominal speed ... but only for a week or so. Then a reset fix the problem again. Obviously, this is not a good solution, as with every reset, saved inputs and passwords, and they are lost.

So, why does resetting personal settings affect our .NET executable? For reset, which we can define, there must be much more. The software seems to be affected by some external environmental forces. We are talking about switching from 2 minutes to 5 seconds, waiting after reset.

Make a list of default settings. Instead of pressing the reset button, swap them one by one and see which one gives you performance.
