How to fix a slow Android emulator?

There is an Intel Core i7 laptop with 8 GB of RAM. This is my first time using an emulator, what are the best settings for AVG? I want it to be fast.

Install the optional Intel x86 Emulator Accelator (HAXM) , which comes with the Android SDK Manager. After installation:

You can find it at:

 .\android-sdks\extras\intel\Hardware_Accelerated_Execution_Manager\IntelHaxm.exe

And as indicated in the image:

Intel HAXM requires an Intel processor with certain hardware features, including Intel Vertualization (VT) technology.

Typically, VT is enabled from the BIOS.

Please note that the architecture of Android processors is of type ARM (RISC), not Intel (CISC), but you can connect more power, such high clock speeds and memory to emulate more quickly, and finally, that would not be relative power of your pc. Another thing that may be useful to you is that you can perform a debugging procedure without closing the emulator every time it is necessary to run. The emulator will review the changes in the test application during debugging.
