Application Name in AssemblyInformation

I want to change the name of the application. I changed the application name in the assembly, but it still shows the PhoneApp1 menu in the Tile menu.

Can anyone tell me?

thanks for the answers, but I am using VS Ultimate 2012 and I donโ€™t see the possibility of deployment on the properties screen. maybe some tool is missing.

If this is the text on the tile that you want to change, this is done in the project settings. In the visual studio, click on the "Projects" menu at the top, and then click "PhoneApp1 Properties." Then change the values โ€‹โ€‹shown in the image below.

enter image description here

The top, called "Title", is for the applicator, and the first in the "Tile Options" section is cropped for the tile for the initial screen.

If you want, you can also change this in the WMAppManifest.xml file.

I suppose you are working on .net Find the problem of using the old project name in the whole solution and replace it with the new name. Before you do this, copy the solution to another folder to make sure that you are not breaking your decision.
