Embed VLC Player in a WPF Application

I am interested in embedding a VLC player in a WPF application. It should be used as a quality control tool where the user can watch a movie, pause and move in different frames to get an idea of how the movie looks. Most of them will be MP4 files, but with a few .MOV files. (Hence the need for VLC) Does anyone know where to start? I saw the activex page and think this is the best way. Does anyone have any ideas or a link to a good guide?
