Change basket price

Question

I want to change the price rules for the basket and add a new field there - subtotals at a discount. Any ideas how to do this? In addition to the subtotal, I want to have a subtotal with a discount, so that I can give discounts based on the discounted subtotal, and not based on the subtotal. Thanks in advance.

Here is a related answer. This is not possible without custom modification.

Without modification, Magento does not allow this.

Shopping cart rules apply to the shopping cart, while the total amount is often not calculated until the last stage of placing an order. Two very different touch points. That would be extremely difficult and I can’t even start to think about where you will start.
