I have a unique problem that I could not understand yet. I updated the Magento site from 1.3.2.4 through the command line on the test site to 1.7.0.2. The problem is that when I perform this update, it deletes all the data when creating / deleting tables / columns / rows. Therefore, I get the correct structure and scheme. I just do not have my data. I have done the following:
./pear mage-setup
./pear upgrade -f magento-core/Mage_All_Latest-stable
chmod 550 ./mage
./mage mage-setup
This updated me to 1.4.2.0. Then I did the following "
./mage sync
./mage list-upgrades
./mage config-set preferred_state stable
./mage upgrade-all --force
All of this succeeded, and when I go to the mage shop, he reads 1.7.0.2. Only not my products, customers or categories are in the database. It is intact, and if I create a new one from there, it works, however I looked at the structure, and it is mostly different. Has anyone written a script or a series of MySQL calls to align these databases? You might think that I can export CSV and then import, and Magento will have unforeseen circumstances for this ... But no, they do not. And the answer to the question? Continue to add Enterprise $ 15,000 for support. LMAO Whatever ...
In short, I need to transfer one database to another, or I will have to manually enter 2500 products and 50,000 clients. Not good. Ideas, experiences, scenarios?
