How to set default value for OpenERP v7 in form interface

Just started digging into OpenERP v7. Previously, in v6.1, the default values ​​in a specific form can be easily defined on the right side of each form. For example, for a product type, I need to set it to "Battery Product" by default, and not "Consumable", how can this be achieved in version 7?

You need to use the Web in Activate "Developer Mode", then "Debug Menu". Use the following steps:

  • Go to the user's context menu (upper right corner) and click About OpenEEP ,
  • Here you will find one option Active Developer Mode at this URL, this will reload the web interface and you will now be in active debug mode.
  • Go to the product list and at the top of the Kanban VIew of Product you will find the Debug View# option.
  • Then click "Create New Product" and Product Type . Select the Stockble product and now go Debug View # and you will find Set Defaults Select and select your default option and save it.
