How to get carrier information for mangoes?

Is there any API that the phone can give us on which media (for example: vodafone)? country of origin, current country, details?

I could not find one in Microsoft.Phone.Net.NetworkInformation, did I miss something?

You can get this through the static property DeviceNetworkInformation.CellularMobileOperator .

Remember that there can not always be one - in this case it returns null.

You can also get the name of the device and manufacturer or the current country through Location Services .

The closest opportunity to get to your “native country” will be through regional settings.

In Mango, i.e. in the next version, there is a static class DeviceNetworkInformation. It provides CellularMobileOperator, which is the name carier.
