How to scroll left and right in the Eclipse editor using the keyboard without moving the cursor?

You can use CTRL + Down or CTRL + Up to scroll through the Eclipse editor without moving the cursor up and down. But what about left and right ?

It's impossible. If you search for keys in Eclipse Preferences , you will find that you have only Scroll up and Scroll down , on which you can set hotkeys.

My recommendation would change the maximum line length in the editor.

Make your code shorter. After all, looooong lines of code are not so readable.

Also resize the editor area. If you feel strangled, delete from t22>, TaskList and Build on the right side of Eclipse and increase the editor.
