my letters in Thunderbird (V 17.0.2 on Win 8) are sorted by date, the newest letters are at the bottom of the inbox.
I need this behavior: as soon as new email messages appear in my inbox, the inbox will directly scroll to the newest emails at the bottom of the inbox. Currently, new inboxes are added to the inbox in the correct date order, but the list does not automatically scroll to the last (newest) item in this list. I always have to manually scroll down to see new incoming emails, as they are just below my second latest emails from my previous mail.
An alternative way to solve my problem and clarify: after completing the email-fetch task, I need a plug-in that automatically presses the END key on the keyboard (above the cursor keys).
Is it possible to enable this behavior, perhaps with a special configuration flag in about: config (change configuration)?
Thank you very much!
Thomas
