Adding my application to the Finder context menu?

I have an application that I am developing that deals with files of any type. I would like the user to be able to right-click on any type of file in Finder and display my menu item. I understand that you must add your application as a service for this, however everything that I set in the service settings in my Info.plist does not do this. I am registering my application as a service with OS X, and I know that this works because my application service appears in the service settings. However, I do not think I am passing the correct type of parameters to it, because I cannot activate my service by right-clicking on the file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you looked at the Apple documentation ?
