How to change the number of indent guide lines in Sublime Text 2?

Current indentation guidelines show only 12 space intervals. I want them to appear at intervals of 4 spaces, so they exactly match my tab width.

Use a monospace font. Either, comment out the font_face parameter in your settings file - User or change it to the monospace font available in your os.

I had the same problem and it turned out that the "bookmark width" for my document (2) is different from the "tab_size" setting (4)

I needed to change the "Tab Width" to: View / Indent / Tab Width
