Xcode "application verification" step requiring age

The step of “checking the application” of the build process in fully updated Xcode 4.6 (and earlier 4.5) often takes two minutes on my machine. Employees creating the same application on similar computers take only a couple of seconds to complete this step. My car was also used, but no longer exists, the past few months.

Does anyone know what could be causing this and how can I fix it?

Update your device to the latest version of iOS 6.1.

There was the same issue fixed after updating my iPad3.

Try rebooting your device.

I had the same problem using Xcode 4.5.1 and iPad 6.0.1, but at that time I didn’t want to update. In addition to the long “Test Application” step, I noticed that copying resources was even slower. After that, I turned off the iPad and tried to uninstall my application, but found that even the device to remove the alerts took a few moments. Therefore, obviously, for me it was a problem with the device, and after shutting down / restarting the device, xcode ran to previously normal speeds.
