Use the front and rear (primary and secondary) camera simultaneously on your iOS device

I wanted to know if there are any features / applications on iOS devices that allow you to simultaneously record video using the front and rear cameras showing the outputs in split screen mode. And then later you can combine both videos.

Is it possible to implement this functionality through an application developed by the user, or through the setup of cydia on devices with jailbreak? This question is just out of curiosity, any useful information would be helpful.

Well, video recording is done using AVCaptureSession . Therefore, you should try to create two of them with different input goals.

Edit: according to this question / answer , it is not possible to create multiple AVCaptureSession s.
