We have an application in the Mac App Store that has a sandbox in it, and it reads files that users drag onto it. All of this is within the scope of how applications can access files outside the sandbox. However, sometimes after the computer wakes up from sleep, OS X will no longer provide access to drag and drop files until the application restarts.
This is the error it generates:
sandboxd: ... deny file-read-xattr /path/to/file
Failed to restart the application, is there any way to return Apple file permissions again?
