I am building a website using WordPress and buddypress with the theme of suffusion. Everything is up to date. As usual, I have spammers registering and banning them as a register. I forbid their ip number in the htaccess file. Then I noticed that the ip number really came from my hosting company, and it turned out that this is the number of the public IP address on which my site is turned on.
So, someone logs in many times, and the ip number is the number of my shared access to the hosting account. I even thought that I had banned the number that he still registers. I get ip numbers from wordfence and bp plugins.
I checked the statistics of the web host in the control panel and it shows 174 whists and 446 hits from this ip number. I checked the ip number on spam list sites and it does not appear.
My hosting company, which is usually very good, says: IP: xxxxxxxx is part of the shared hosting server: (hostname), which hosts your website. This is not the host or visitor host IP address. I am assuming your website has some kind of redirect loop, or is this a script part of your site, such as a cron script or similar. There should be no point in blocking this IP address as this is not a real visitor to your website.
What does this mean and how can I stop this ip number that appears during some registrations, and my script is corrupted.
