How to export only selected layers in Photoshop as separate png images

Question

I want to be able to export only selected layers in Photoshop as separate png-images (which are correctly cropped). I see that the script executes all the layers in the PSD, but I only want to make the layers that I selected. Is it possible?

One of the workarounds for this would be: 1) Hide layers that you do not want to export 2) Use a regular file> Scripts> Export layers to file and check the option "Only visible layers"
