Is it possible for Leksah to use cabal-dev for the workspace?

I am trying to make sure that I am not entering hellish hell using cabal-dev, and I am also trying to use leksah for my IDE. However, when adding packages to the local workspace in leksah, it creates and installs packages in my ~ / .cabal user space.

How can I get leksah to install package dependencies in the cabal-dev environment that I installed?

Well, this is not the fast and clean solution you were looking for, but ... there is a leksah development version that has "experimental cabal-dev support." If you look a little at the src directory and check the corresponding files, you will see that there is an option in the IDE settings menu that allows you to use cabal-dev. There is also updated code for installing dependencies accordingly. The link is here:
