The role of the azure worker will not begin

I am in alpha with the product using the production server role. The working role worked about 2 weeks ago, but recently I mixed up some new things, and everything seems to be OK, except that the working role does not perform this work (monitoring the message queue) ...

I RDP'ed into an instance of the working role and found the following event in the machine event log:

Session "MA_ETWSESSION_RD00155D47CFD4_QueueWorkerRole_IN_0" could not start with the following error: 0xC0000035

But otherwise everything is fine (apparently).

The AppAgentRuntime magazine even says that everything is in order:

[00001320: 00000896, 2013/02/28, 21: 05: 21.743, 00040000] The role of 847e925f39f044759cbcdb162c818553.QueueWorkerRole_IN_0 has stabilized.

I wrapped up the main parts of the w / exception working role, trying to grab some cryptic error, and I don't know what this does ...

  • Try redeploying the service with IntelliTrace enabled.
  • Do not just register for your Run method, but also trace everything that is thrown from your OnStart and OnStop method.
  • Beware of static members or constructors that you may have added to your class — they can cause your object instance to be created even before you touch the OnStart method.

Other things that could ruin your launch: * Do you have all the dependencies needed to load your assembly deployed to a role instance? * Have you disabled strong name verification on your development machine and forgot to sign your assemblies when publishing?
