Web essentials 2012 crashes when I open a project that already has a file open

Interesting things are happening, and I was hoping someone could help me.

Visual Studio 2012 with installed Web Essentials works fine until the very last update (the one where they are removed less, coffeescript, etc.)

However, since the update I have been having problems. This only happens when I open a project that has a file on which the website will act - is already open.

If I close all tabs with cshtml / less / css files before closing the project. Then the next time I open this project, I'm fine. I can even open these files, and web news will be involved with all its additional functions. But if even one of these files is open when the project was saved and, therefore, opened automatically when the project is loaded, then the entire visual studio crashes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you

Found a problem after days and days of searching (only a few minutes after posting this question :))

The latest version of Web Essentials requires ASP.NET and Web Tools 2012.2. I heard a lot about these Tools 2012.2, but I thought it was an extension - maybe "Microsoft Web Development Tools" is automatically installed using visual studio or something. which will automatically update when using all the automatic update software running on my machine.

So, I tried updating all extensions and updating, updating and finding updates - to no avail.

I even downloaded and installed VS2012 Update 2 CTP4, thinking that this should be the elusive update everyone is talking about.

Well, as I’m sure, you guessed it, in fact, none of the above. Link http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=282650

It appears on the home page of websites, but not on the page that appears when the update starts.

Hope this link helps someone.
