Link to a category using tinymce

Question

I use the tinymce 'link to existing content' button to link to posts, but would like to know if it is possible to show categories in a list?

We need to bind a fair bit to the categories, and doing it manually is a bit of a pain.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

I do not think there is a built-in behavior for this function. It should be encoded as usual.
