The first time a poster and a little start to the developer. I tried to find the answer in many places, but nothing concrete and I really need help.
I am trying to install a rotator / image slider (nivo) on this cdms.amctec.net site. The image rotator works fine in FF, but I get the following error message in IE 9 and all other browsers in conosole:
SCRIPT5007: Invalid operand to 'in': Object expected *jquery.min.js, line 5 character 1203*
This is a script I'm pulling from Google, so I'm not sure if this is a bug, or if I don't name it at my end with a patch or something else.
Can someone help me figure out the solution and make this work for non-FF browsers?
Thanks Mike
Implementation Code:
<script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { $('#slider').nivoSlider({ effect: "boxRain", // Specify sets like: 'fold, fade, sliceDown' slices: 15, // For slice animations boxCols: 8, // For box animations boxRows: 4, // For box animations animSpeed: 500, // Slide transition speed pauseTime: 7000, // How long each slide will show startSlide: 0, // Set starting Slide (0 index) directionNav: false, // Next & Prev navigation controlNav: true, // 1,2,3... navigation controlNavThumbs: false, // Use thumbnails for Control Nav pauseOnHover: true, // Stop animation while hovering manualAdvance: false // Force manual transitions /* prevText: 'Prev', // Prev directionNav text nextText: 'Next', // Next directionNav text randomStart: false, // Start on a random slide beforeChange: function(){}, // Triggers before a slide transition afterChange: function(){}, // Triggers after a slide transition slideshowEnd: function(){}, // Triggers after all slides have been shown lastSlide: function(){}, // Triggers when last slide is shown afterLoad: function(){} // Triggers when slider has loaded */ }); }); </script> <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { $('#slider').nivoSlider(); }); </script>
